DESCRIPTION:&nbsp;  The conference, organised by Architects’ Council of Europe and our Joint Programme Smart Cities member Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), marks the end of 5 years of work to develop and demonstrate groundbreaking solutions in communities across Europe. 36 partners from academia and industry in 8 European countries have collaborated to deliver 6 large-scale demonstration projects with more than 50 innovations ranging from energy efficient technologies and circular materials to tools and processes for planning and design.&nbsp; The conference will highlight the lessons learned from the implementation of the solutions and discuss the challenges and opportunities to their wide scale market uptake.
